No per-mailbox upsell
IONOS sells mailboxes in tiers, often with an introductory price that renews higher. HavitoMail Pro is one flat yearly price for 20 mailboxes across 5 domains.

Why switch
Why businesses switch from IONOS Mail
Email kept apart from your domain bundle
Your inboxes do not depend on which domain or hosting package you happen to hold. Keep the domain at any registrar and point only the mail records to HavitoMail.
Servers in the EU
Mail is stored on servers in France, which helps European businesses keep correspondence inside the EU.
Authentication you can see
Each domain gets its own DKIM key, and the wizard gives you the SPF and DMARC values and verifies them live, so you know your setup is complete.
Aliases and catch-all included
Create info@, sales@ and billing@ as aliases into existing mailboxes and switch on a per-domain catch-all — no paid add-on needed.
Standard IMAP/SMTP
Connect Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or a phone app directly, and migrate in or out at any time.
FAQ
IONOS Mail alternative — FAQs
Can I keep my domain at IONOS and move only the email?
Yes. Leave the domain registered at IONOS and change its MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records in the IONOS DNS panel to the values the HavitoMail wizard gives you. Your website is unaffected.
How do I migrate my IONOS mailboxes?
Both services use IMAP, so you can copy old messages with an IMAP migration tool or by dragging folders between accounts in a mail client like Thunderbird. Switch the MX record when you are ready to receive new mail at HavitoMail.
Is HavitoMail hosted in the EU like IONOS?
HavitoMail’s mail servers are in France. Your business stays responsible for its own GDPR obligations, but EU hosting makes data-residency questions simpler.
Is there a free plan?
There is no free-forever plan, but every new account gets a 14-day free trial with 1 domain and 1 mailbox — no credit card needed to start. After that, Pro is $19/year (₹1,499/year in India) for 5 domains, 20 mailboxes, and 10 GB of storage.
