FAQ
FAQs for Ethiopia Businesses
Can I use a .et or .com.et domain?
Yes. .et domains are registered through Ethio Telecom; you can also use a .com or .org from a global registrar. The DNS wizard gives copy-paste MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for your domain.
How can an Ethiopian business pay?
The 14-day free trial needs no card to start. HavitoMail Pro is $19/year in USD by international card. Foreign-currency card payments can be restricted in Ethiopia, so confirm your card works for international online purchases before upgrading.
Will my emails reach Gmail and Outlook inboxes?
Yes, once your domain is authenticated. The guided setup publishes SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, which Gmail and Outlook check before trusting business mail, and verifies each record.
Does it display Amharic?
Yes. Webmail and IMAP are UTF-8, so Amharic (Ge’ez script) in subjects, names, and messages displays correctly. The interface itself is currently in English.
