Nashik exports fresh produce and wine. Table grapes from the Niphad, Dindori and Lasalgaon belt go to the EU, the UK, the Netherlands and increasingly the Gulf and Russia, and that trade is governed by grape-net residue monitoring, farm registration, pre-harvest testing and EU maximum residue limits that make each season a compliance exercise as much as a farming one. Onions from Lasalgaon, the country's best-known onion market, move to Southeast Asia and the Gulf subject to shifting export policy. Alongside agriculture, the Satpur, Ambad and Sinnar industrial estates export engineering components, auto parts and pharmaceutical products. Perishable consignments are reefer-dependent and truck down the Mumbai highway for shipment out of Nhava Sheva, with a small share flying out through Mumbai air cargo.
